Summer 2021 transfer window

Prefer Tarkowski over Dunk personally. Tarkowski is a nasty git though.

I've not seen loads of Anderson for Fulham but he looks pretty good with the ball. They seem to have been more solid with him in the team

I'd be quite tempted by Andersen from Fulham personally. 24, technically decent, plays the ball out from the back.
edit fuckin ninja'd by YW!

I’d love to get tarkowski, he’s a superb defender.

I reckon he’ll go to Leicester though.

I think West Ham will probably go back in for him.

I think we need to be re-signing Pedro Goncalves from Sporting personally. Very similar player to Bruno Fernandes - seems to be filling the void left by him anyway. Covers right wing/10. Would be perfect for what we need to help us penetrate teams.

yeah me too, Tarkowski is better for me and would love him here as one of our CB´s

There's no chance unfortunately. When he leaves Sporting it'll be for £50M+

I like how there's a picture of Jorge Mendes even though he's not his agent ?

I doubt it. I dont think we'll look to have Fabio and A.Nother. Unless we immediately sent him to Grasshoppers or some such.
As you say, I think it kind of depends where he is in his development. No problem have two young strikers if we think he's going to be amazing provided we're able to develop them both.

I'm not sure I'd buy any of the loanees as it stands.

Ait-Nouri will hardly play now Jonny is back. Can't play anywhere else. Not worth £20m.

We don't use Vitinha where we're supposed to and don't seem to have any intention of doing so either. Definitely not a #10. Not worth £20m.

Willian is ok as a stopgap but won't play when Raul is back and he's alarmingly passive at times. Not worth £20m.

Use that money on better players in areas we actually need.

I'd absolutely buy RAN.

Not sure what we will do with Vitinha/Willian. Nuno spoke about Vitinha very recently, all about adapting to the physical side and speed of this league I think. if they back his talent I'd do it personally.

But when is Ait-Nouri ever going to play? It's not like Jonny has a year or two left in him. He's 26. And we won't move him to the other side as we've invested in Semedo.

I like Vitinha a lot but we don't use him properly and if we don't now when there's as good as nothing at stake, we never will.

He's 19 (20 this year), he doesn't have to play week in week out. I think if Nuno trusts/rates him, we'll be able to rotate those three fairly well. Especially if the aim is to become more flexible in terms of systems. Hoever is further behind in his development IMO which is fine, and he can play at centre back too. For me RAN is too big a talent for us to be passing up on when we have him in the building.

As I say, I think that is more about the speed of the game at this point with Vitinha. If they think that is best for his development right now, it would indicate they think he is worth taking time with and developing.

I have no issue spending the 40m ish on the pair of them. I don't think it will overly affect our spending as it's about a couple of key positions anyway, and we are less impacted by the losses made in the Championship.

Will be interesting to see how it actually plays out and what the club decide anyway.

I don’t really know what Vitinha is so it’s hard to pass judgment.

I certainly don’t think he’s a holding midfielder in a 2 like he would have to be in our 3-4-3 and likewise in a 4-2-3-1. So unless we’re going 4-3-3 long term (which is a massive leap from 3 CBs and two holding midfielders to 2 CBs and one holding midfielder) then I don’t see where he fits.
