Summer 2021 transfer window

Who did we sell before we bought Ait Nouri? It's a myth that players need to be sold before a purchase. It may be required that sales are required to balance outgoings to a level, of which we have no idea.
I agree it's a myth (I believe it's been pushed) by Shi and Co to dampen transfer expectations. A couple of years ago there's no way we'd all be pissing our pants about Spurs trying to buy one of our top players. So it's worked.

Tosin isn't bad at all. I'd be a bit underwhelmed in a way though. Especially seeing us being linked with Botman!

Tosin is an interesting link. I remember him going on loan to them down the road and being terrible but seemed to form a good partnership with Anderson last year. He's quite athletic which is something we don't have defensively. Presumably a back up if the other options don't come off.

When Fulham had their purple patch of a month or so last season he and Anderson were both good, his form dipped and he ended up being dropped I think

Can see why he shortens his first name "Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami Adarabioyo"

We were linked with him before he went to Fulham I think

As I understand, FIFA have instructed Wolves to break even over 3 years. They will check this by looking at Wolves profit or loss in the published accounts. When you sign a player say for 30m on a five year contract, the account will show a 6m cost for the player in the current accounts whether you pay 30m up front or spread the payments over the five years. If you sell a player for 20m who came up through the academy, the 20m goes into the Profit & Loss accounts straightaway even if you don't see a penny of the fee for another 12 months. When the cash is paid or received isn't going to affect the accounts that FIFA are going to check.

It is most likely that Wolves are only able to not worry about cash flow due to Fosun's financial muscle.

Don't send us down the FFP rabbit hole again!! It takes days to get back out

Being reported on Twitter now that we've had a "payment row" with Tottenham and the Traore deal could break down any moment...
