That was my thinking, also Raul needs more time to get his sharpness, if he could get a goal (or 2) in the first 60 minutes,then sub him and bring your mate on.

No point giving Silva a chance for me, he’s absolutely miles away from starting in the Prem.

In fact the more I see of Silva, the more similar he’s looking to “George Weah’s cousin” that came on for Southampton.

I’d go with a 4-4-2 with Raul and Chan.

We totally need to try something different and we’re not going to get a better opportunity than this.

4 at the back and play a strong team as everyone has stated. Ruddy can play, Rotate Hoever for Semedo, Donck can come in for Moutinho and RAN has the shirt for me.

Raul needs to play. Pick any 3 of the the other attackers to go with him.

The game is coming at a good time where we can use it to help our performances in the league both from individuals and try new things as a team. Don’t waste it doing more of the same.

Given the lack of midfield options the club has (due to incompetent recruiting or lack there of) this makes perfect sense

you'd fancy Doc to start for them. I'd rather hope he has a 2016 classic rather than him set the socials off about letting him go. Like Nuno its gone now.

Don't want Moutinho anywhere near this. Theyve got Arsenal on Sunday so can't see them going full strength and if they don't beat what is a vastly subpar Arsenal after their last two against Palace and Chelsea Nuno will be staring down the barrel so expect them to rotate. We shouldn't be needing a 35 year old to play.

I'd rest Traore too and have Podence from the off as he steps up his minutes, can't figure out if Raul needs to play through it or needs protecting so toss up between him starting or not. Part of me thinks if he gets a fortuitous goal like Kante yesterday it'll set him off.

Not too bothered whether it's 3 centre backs or 2 centre backs. If it's 2 i'd like to see Silva behind Raul (if the club feels he needs games) and Mosquera, Boly, RAN, Hoever, Podence, Hwang and Donk to come in. If it's 3 centre backs then i'd like to see Fabio up top again unless they feel Raul needs to play.
