QPR 2 - 1 Wolves: verdict thread

Alex Sørloth would fit the bill. Having a good season for Midtjylland. Only 21, good bit of upside. Not as skilled as Bonatini but at least is of that mold.

Not our day today, possibly a case of after the Lord Mayors show.

We move on and prepare for three points at Carrow Road.

We won't get three points at carrow road. Call me what you like but we are shit against Norwich especially at their place and they got dicked at home today. I will take a point now and that's that. And don't start this mumbo jumbo shit. That's never what I have said. There are some teams that we fuck up against. QPR has been one recently. Norwich too. Our 1 0 win was hardly deserved. And that is our only win in 8. 5 defeats in there including 1 point from 6 in our championship winning year. So don't go spouting shit about coincidence , magic and mumbo jumbo. The fixture list has dealt us back to back games against sides that for about 8 years, take more points off us than we do them. I will take anything from those.

Feel free to join the club in having a go at me, but since when have I mentioned coincidences, magic or mumbo jumbo?

It is mumbo jumbo, Cyber.

Norwich are not a "bogey" side for us. They've been better than us. Period. End of.

If you can look back at our last 4 games against them and say that we should have been beating them in any of them (we did manage it once), you're looking at it through skewed specs. Norwich have had better players and managers than us until this season.

This is pure mental thinking.

We should have won today as we are miles better than QPR, we didn't play well enough to do so. What different teams under different managers did years ago makes no odds at all.

Do you really think Diogo Jota gives a shit how Matt Jarvis performed at Carrow Road in 2008?

I doubt Diogo even knows who Jarvis is.

Perhaps we could get Barry Fry to urinate in each corner of the Carrow Road pitch?

I think we need to mix things up a bit bring in Boly and Viagre as said by others for the Norwich and Fulham games Conorr Ronan he has great potential and could give us the spark we need perhaps he needs to be considered too

Agreed. We just did not play well today. Points lost, lessons learnt, and we move on.

We don't really need a spark, we just can't have the two most important players on the pitch (in this system, our wingbacks) take the day off at the same time again.

Do you really think Diogo Jota gives a $#@! how Matt Jarvis performed at Carrow Road in 2008?

No I don't. If I could explain it I would. I know its not mumbo jumbo but why the fuck are their four or five teams who we under perform against?

Because anomalies happen for no reason whatsoever.

We haven't lost to Bristol City at home since 1931. I doubt that fact entered into Lee Johnson's mind whatsoever last month.

They're a statistical curiosity, nothing more than that, you need to put them out of your mind. We've never won a league game at the Reebok Stadium (or whatever name it's going by now), backing us to win there this season? After all they are the worst team in the league and we are arguably the best.

Defending against the big man is becoming a problem again. When Matt Smith came on our back three went to jelly. He should have scored earlier, however we created enough to win that game, a sitter missed from Leo and two glorious chances from Jota and Bright you should be burying. I expect Willy to be back in at Carrow Road to shore up a leaky back line, Olivera is a different player so Norwich will try and play into him and not up to his head, so hopefully we can defend as normal.

How have we been underperforming against Norwich?? They've been objectively better than us on paper for almost 8 years now.

Strangely, the big guys get more joy when they try to target Batth. So Boly in for Batth, IMO.

Nope. A point at best. I get it I understand what you're saying that its a statistical anomoly but even if we are top of the league wiulkd you put money on us beating Norwich QPR Bolton? I don't understand why they do it but they just do lol!

Have they fuck! They got relegated the year we won the league beating us 5 2 and drawing 3 3

Take out a billion pound loan then next time we play Brizzle at home and stick a lay bet against them. You can't lose.
