O'Neil Confirmed

He's not getting sacked this side of the next International Break and even then we'd need to lose every match. Remember we also gave him a stupid contract beyond the appointment itself
I imagine there is a break clause as there would be in any contact for non-performance within such a short period of time agree appointment.

The new lads will get a chance to have an impact over the next month and then it'll be inwardly focussed on the manager. Certainly when we get back to more winnable runs of games.
If we're in the bottom 3 at the end of October he'll be gone. That's 12 games in, nearly a third of the season.

Well now this shit is definitely going to his head. 😉

Once you get to 3/4 points from 8 or 9 games your position becomes almost untenable, I’ve got a feeling someone ie Liverpool or City will whollope us also. Can’t use the fixture list as an excuse and the “ it was a mighty fine effort” either. As well as we played at Man Utd we we’re relying on a brain fart from their keeper to get us a point.

Needs to win against Luton. Nobody is getting sacked for losing to Liverpool and City.

Would put us on 6 from 7 going into the Villa game. Loses that then the pressure mounts again especially considering that would mean all home games have been lost starting the season.
Damage isn’t done v City or Liverpool it’s been done today and second half collapse v BHA.

I think a lot of that Manchester United performance was down to them being absolutely dire, too.

Fixtures start getting better in late October. Starting with Bournemouth there's 5 games out of next 8 we should be looking at winning, at least getting 10-12 points from minimum.

Today was one of them too

I feel that it would almost be malicious to get rid of him after just four matches.

Better see some serious upturn in form soon, though, with some actual consistency in it. If we continue to collapse tactically like we did today, give it maybe until mid-October. It's tough and I don't like the merry-go-round but if he flops, he flops.
No we’ve seen enough. it’s obvious he hasn’t got a clue what to do (apart from get Derry to shout louder during bollockings)
