Olofinjana Shirt For Sale

giphy.gif

Imagine how much it might've sold for without 'Olofinjana' written on it ;)

All the same, if it did sell (listing was ended), then well done on getting £50 for something that was probably not a collector's piece.

Who had a pair of quasar trainers or football boots back in the day? I’m thinking at the very least one of Langers, Del or Deutsch. Probably all three.

I was so proud when I had a pair of football boots one Xmas that i removed the studs using that weird key thing and wore them around the house for pretty much a whole Xmas holiday ,,probably while wearing those weird shin pads with the individual little bone shaped things at the front. Come to think of it, I went through a spell of wearing them on the outside of my socks when playing for my primary school in Cannock.

Thing is, I’ve done all of these weird things, and likely more, and yet I’ve never ever ever had a players name printed on the back of a shirt. It is what it is.

I had a pair of Quasars. Also had some Sondico Gary Lineker Platinum shin pads that I only retired a few years ago.
But I have had a shirt with a name on (Zidane, Juventus).

I had Quaser boots, gutted when I grew out of them, they didn't make them any more and I had to go Diadora (lovely set, mind).

Quaser boots score goals.

I had some (George Best) Stylo Matchmakers when I was a kid. Molded studs, which was good as I mostly played in the street.
Also had some yellow and black Puma boots with a massive yellow tongue, that was around '76 as I know I had them a senior school.

A bizarre sales pitch (and a fake sale) for something no-one would possibly want, a dissection of Carl Cort's Wolves career, old school boot discussion and Adam Proudlock.

And they say this place is dead.

I had a pair of Pele boots. Black with a purple stripe if I recall correctly. Had to wear them longer than I should have , being too poor to replace them. Could have ended up with feet like those little old Chinese women if I hadn`t got a paper round job.

I had a pair of the Quasar boots. The sports shop in town ordered them in for me (Terry Pratt Sports). They were the most comfortable boots I'd ever worn and I scored a shed load of goals with them... The magic of Bully passed down 😂

Think Lineker wore Quasar too

I went to the store opening in the Wulfrun centre to see Bully. He's in Bridgnorth tonight turning on the Christmas lights

Early 70’s had a pair of George Best - purple with tongue that covered the laces - and a pair of white boots ( forget the name though) plus all the usual Adidas, Puma and Patricks
