Nuno to leave Wolves

hope there'll be some video footage at the end of the match showing his farewell.

Just been saying to my other half, that I’m hoping that Nuno and the board agree leaving’s a bad idea and to give it another go but that obviously is not going to happen.

The point about the club being fractured is valid...part of what has made Nuno's tenure work as well as it has is everyone got on board and everyone was pulling in the same direction together.

Whomever it is will have comparisons being made to Nuno being made from day 1. And if we don't improve, if we just go sideways, it won't be unreasonable to ask what the point was.

We could storm the league and everything will be rosy but odds are that probably won't happen.

I see it as opposite: I think if someone like Lage comes in there will be zero expectation. Had Nuno still been in charge next season the knives would have been out from the get go.

As gutted as I am to see Nuno go Steve Bruce finished above us

How hypocritical that people are bleating about league position when a month or so ago it was the seasons over just play the kids, he did what people wanted and now this !
Today was not the kids, he played a full team.

RAN, and Silva were the only kids , there were no other kids in the team.

Made me fill up too, especially seeing him embrace his coaches.

I hope the new man can carry on your dream Nuno. I suspect he will be in by this time next week.

I am in your camp. Whilst it's a shock having reflected it is not a surprise and it is the right timing. It's just the start of another journey , which I hope is just as positive!

Whoever comes in will be under enormous pressure because they aren't Nuno
We should just appoint any old twat as the rebound guy and get our genuine choice in after a few weeks to save the day...

He would have gone after 10 games. I really wanted him to turn it around, of course I did. He could and should have been our SAF. But he isn't a trophy winner, and that's what the owners want.

Personally I think the timing is poor. It will take time for a new guy/back room to put their stamp on the team and get them playing the way they want, so thats another season gone. Would have made more sense to give Nuno till xmas and if we were still struggling, then bring in a new manager.

Not at all. We wouldn't have gotten anyone midway through a season.

As I've said elsewhere, the new man will be in by the end of the week and he'll have an entire pre-season to evaluate his squad and stamp his identity.

For once Wolves have got the timing of a managerial sacking absolutely spot on.
