Don't really think of them as specific cuisines, plus I was sort of working in Europe there. Hence no Thai.Thought SA and Aus would be high up your chart, Pad.
We having real issues getting staff at our place too.Recruitment.
Had two days of interviews planned, 10 interviews.
Only 2 show up.
Offer both jobs, one has experience and good to go, the other is enthusiastic and lets face it, shop work isn't taxing if you have the right personality for it.
Phone both and Offer the job verbally both very excited and accept. Neither turn up for their induction.
Oz is great if you like fucking pumpkin with everything...Don't really think of them as specific cuisines, plus I was sort of working in Europe there. Hence no Thai.
Aus is great in that it is such an eclectic mix and you can get loads of great stuff.
Absolutely! Go and do it, unless you feel you're in love with your new job.The jobs market does seem crackers at the moment.
I changed employers late last year and I had recruiters already contacting me about opportunities elsewhere early this year. They must really be struggling to fill positions if they think someone who only swapped jobs a couple of months is the best lead they can find. There's one job I've been approached for by at least 5 different people by now, 2 internal recruiters from the company in question and then at least 3 independent recruiters working on their behalf since. Part of me is really tempted to rock up for an interview and just see how much they'd put on the table if they're really desperate.
If you're fucking a pumpkin, stick it in the microwave a bit to warm it up first. Apparently.Oz is great if you like fucking pumpkin with everything...
