It could easily be defined as a reasonable request. Many contracts now have more vagueness in hours as they want flexibility.
My contract doesn't have a number of hours, it is task oriented.
9-5 hasn't been normal hours for over a decade.

He already annoys me by emailing me with the content of the email in the title and nothing in the actual email. Also uses text speak...he is nearly 60.

Ah man, I had someone who did that before. All in capitals too.

So I used to deliberately reply to him with "please see attached" and attach nothing. It's the only language these people understand.

I have my working hours here. If I do something that means I go over that I get it back and that includes travelling hours.

The whole point of my moan is really I want to be thinking about other stuff at 4.30 next Tuesday and not settling in for meeting but no choice so I will moan like a bitch on here about it.
