Aye, I had a look to see what was in Dornoch and the Castle Hotel looked really good

Without looking it up I think just a short walk down the lane from Ardgay Station there's a little church standing on its own and you can go inside and see where all the people who had tried to scratch a living from the shitty fields were hiding from Cromwell and his murderous band as they cleared the highlands. there are dozens of names and farewell messages scratched onto the tiny panes of glass in the windows. You can see out the windows and imagine what they could see as their doom advanced across the fields....
Edit: Just checked it out... The church is about 4 or 5 miles from the station, so, not really a walk and it's called Croick Church.
Which is about 70 miles from the village of Croick....

Just had a polite sounding English girl call me up from "Lloyds Bank fraud department" telling me there's been large transactions from Argos online trying to go through on my account. I was a bit suss but confirmed my name and address that she quoted me was correct. But then she asked me to log on to my online banking and confirm my last known balance. When I told her she was wasting her time trying to get me to give out that sort of info over the phone she just hung up.

It makes a change from the blatantly Indian guys telling you you have a computer virus.

My daughter had similar a few months ago, they'd accessed her account whilst she was logged in, woke the following morning to find about 300 in various transactions had been took overnight. Shits.
