New - The things that really annoy you

We've had a lot of kids bikes stolen from our school. Gangs use them to store and transport drugs in the frame. There was an incident a few days ago where 2 boys in balaclavas and carrying machetes were waiting in a park nearby after school to steal bikes from kids. Police tracked them on CCTV getting on a train back to Birmingham so it's a county lines thing.
It's a shitty situation, could easily be the same here. I told my kids to just let them have it if anything like this happens

Lot of bikes get nicked off people in fowlers park Wolverhampton, I used it to come through when I worked at Halfords, got surrounded by a load of kids in balaclavas holding knives as I was crossing the railway the one night, was just about to hand everything over when one of them said “ whoa hang on, this guy fixed my bike at Halfords the other day, he’s safe, let him through” so they did as the lad that stuck up for me fist bumped me saying safe man

Shit but for the best. And at least nothing worse happened this time.

So, due to go on holiday to the Highlands on Monday and I decided yesterday to check what time we had to be out of the holiday cottage next Sunday only to find the booking had been cancelled. No notice, no contact or emails, just said "booking cancelled"!

A number of emails and phone conversations later and I have my deposit returned but no holiday to go on.

(Things I am happy about)

Finally found somewhere in roughly the same area, booked and paid for but £120 more than the original booking. Was really pissed off yesterday afternoon and didn't get things sorted until 00:30 this morning but at least we are still going to northern Scotland. I could have, obviously, found something anywhere in the Country but you know when you have really set your heart on going somewhere and found places to visit and planned it all? Yeah that was us so just anywhere wouldn't do

when you return from a few days absence, and find out the cunt who was supposed to be covering for you did fuck all for 3 days, aside from sit in the office watching wimbledon and cricket. now he's on annual leave, and I am having to deal with his shit.
fucking raging.

Waiting on Virgin Media to provide a rep to remove BT Sports from my package, half an hour I've been sat here so far. Pretty sure they were there in a couple of minutes when I wanted to fucking add it. Cunts.

Just hoping I'll give up and fuck off I suppose.

Hope you have a great time. I never did get round to the Highlands. Furthest north I got was probably Falkirk or something like that. Actually it might well be Stenhousemuir’s ground!

I would love to see the Great Glen and the most northerly Munro up near Cape Wrath is supposed to be stunning scenery too.

Where are you going? Love the Highlands and have stayed in various places and travelled around there many times over the years

We were going to Lairg with a trip to the Glen Morangie distillery via a scenic train journey thrown in.

Now going to Dornoch, about 15 minute drive from Tain and Glen Morangie
