New Manager Search *BACK ON*

Tbf to Johnny, social media was just one example he gave.

There doesn't necessarily have to be a single offending post on a social media account to put you off someone, it can be a cumulative effect.

Not sure what any of this has to do with the new manager search anyway?

Bit of a hatchet job with some overblown / inaccurate English facts here, but whereas previously I'd have said this kind of article was ill informed the appointment of Lage leaves us completely open to it

We have changed somewhat this Summer - Collins , Sasa and Costa......none of them are from Portugal .

Getting back to the Manager search......the idea that we might choose Pedro Martins because he is available and therefore cheap is a throwback to the Lage appointment and indeed previous windows when we signed so few players .
This Summer just gone shows a different approach . We are now prepared to go the extra mile for players we feel will make a difference . Most posters here thought that Nunes would never come to Wolves , similar to Collins and indeed Costa . They all came .
I would be quite hopeful that they will take the same approach when it comes to a new Manager....i.e money won't be an issue .

That would then mean that the likes of Poch , Tuchel or Emery can't be ruled out if they express an interest .

You just never know - we need as wide a pool as possible to choose from , not just ' are they from Portugal ' , ' are they with Jorge ' .

I cannot find him on Facebook or Instagram, he is on twitter, and unless you object to Welsh football stuff, and goalkeeping unión there is nothing to see.

He then calles me and muy Ilk out gor not agreeing with him without a shred of evidence as to why he hates the guy.

I know he hates Karl Henry because he dislikes his politics, i find that strange i don't agree with Corbyn, or Starmer and there politics but i don thate them, i dont hate the copper that let Starner away with rule breaking in Covid for a nice big cheque and job

There’s definitely mileage in some of the things he says but he intentionally glosses over Collins, Adama, Jonny, Costa and Ait Nouri when talking about English members of the squad. It’s not as if most premier
League clubs are swimming in Englishmen either.

Bruno was a mothball manager, cheap, known, available and ideal to baby sit the project while it was on ice and he doesn’t seem to have appreciated that.

I would expect a top manager to be appointed this time, and Mendes will make £10m or so from it whether or not he’s the agent (witness Fabio Silva).

We are at a crossroads and it all comes down to Mr Shi to decide if we follow another dead end.

Gibberish

He might well be a nice man in private. Apparently McGhee was. Both were/are total wankers when it came to football though.

He is 100% not a good communicator, he babbles on about nothing and spews falsehoods constantly.

Speaking of gibberish, there's a fair bit sprinkled through this.

"(Lage) is charming, affable and intelligent". Right-o

Journalists will like him as he talked to them and seemed happy to do so. Sometimes he would say too much but they don't care about that. The only period where they couldn't get close to him was his first few weeks in charge.
So on a professional level I have no doubt he was charming etc etc

Nuno would have happily told them all to do one (and brilliantly did with Spiers for about 4 weeks)

The first half of his time with us, he was actually quite good in terms of speaking with the press. It all started to go a bit Dean Saunders after that, as in say what he wants to say....do I shut up now?....no they want more.....keep talking.....don't mention Boots
