I really don't understand why Roberts gets so much abuse on here.

In the videos etc he always seems to come across well.

The way I see it a few people have made an assumption/stereotype and rather than accepting they may have been wrong just continue to double down on it.

All the players have/are complimentary. Respected by his national team. John ruddy was complimentary whilst also derogatory to Lage so would suggest he was being genuine.

I think his bantz level is over played.

I mean his top level stuff at Wolves was getting the squad in to bollock them but it was to actually wind them up over their FIFA ratings (it worked on Neves...redder than a bloke shouting at Lee Naylor)
