Deslandes up against Adomah so we will find out what his defending capabilities are which he didn't need in the last round of this competition

The radio said the rhombus is in use with Saville on the left.

Is Hause injured? Otherwise cannot see the logic of moving Iorfa inside to a position he hasn't played this season when Hause & EEL could at least continue working on their partnership.

Would also avoid the need to bring Doherty in at RB

He is injured, but should be fit for Saturday.

You can listen to this on 107.7 btw.

Commentary advise Saville on the left, Wallace on the right with McD just ahead of Price - so somewhat of a narrow diamond by the sound of it.

Little of note happening, both midfields losing the ball with regularity with us having a bit more possession but doing little with it so far

It seems to me like the formation is----------------------McDonald------Price----------------------

----------------------------------------Wallace----------------------------------------------------------Saville-------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------VLP--------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------Bright--------------------------------------

So not exactly Saville and Wallace playing wide but tucked in when we have it allowing the fullbacks to go forward and us have numbers in the middle and hopefully players moving into little pockets between the lines but when we don't have it Saville and Wallace are getting out to their wide players and if not McDonald and Price will and Wallace and Saville cover for them. That would then make sense a little tactically, if Wallace and Saville are playing as wide players it makes no sense at all.

What ? three players on the right and no one on the left :)

seems from twitter that we are well into this game at the moment

Doherty back on, makes a decent tackle on Friend to concede a corner, but then almost puts it into his own net off the corner

Friend booked as the Ref gets fed up with the number of fouls Boro are conceeding

Spiers reckons it's 4-4-1-1 with Saville left.

4-4-1-1, Price and McD in the middle with Saville and Wallace switching sides every so often. VLP and Bright switching between #10 and forward. Passing is sharp, and the midfield looking tight. Iorfa very vocal and after a shaky start, Deslandes is getting into the game. Doherty playing well too
More at half time

Wolves have 40% possession with one shot which was too high from VLP.
Once again their keeper has been untroubled.
KMac with an aimless ball to no one and we lose possession.
That smooth possession football we all loved last season is still being kept under wraps...

EEL you twonk. What a mess that was.

Really poor from EEL.

Low cross which EEl gets all wrong - Adomah nips in & an easy goal.

Long way back from here
