Cav subbed off. Looks pretty disappointed with himself.

Cav has been poor tonight but he has worked tremendously hard, just not his night.

Yeah this, I've been moaning about him but because I can, but if I was still managing Saturdays I'd never take a player off tracking back as much as he was.

Played shit and won. Never looked like conceding. Happy days

Didn't look to me like Costa was in a better position. Wednesday defender was covering well.

If anything it was the pass by Jota that should have been better.

All over thank fuck I’d say we are going through our rocky patch now but still getting results.

22 points out of last 24. Not too shabby I guess

Lovely

Played poorly by our standards for two weeks. 7 points out of 9. Bosh.

22 from 24 is terrifying, and the record of 4 consecutive away wins without a goal conceded is hugely impressive.

For all the stick he's had, Cav has been one of our best players tonight in an attacking sense. Boly, Ruddy and Coady the others.

Really not dominating at all, but still getting good results

That's what promoted teams do

5! [emoji898][emoji898]

Says a lot that we can play that poorly going forward and yet still never feel threatened.

Think that's what has got him above Costa as much as anything at the moment, the few times I've seen the latter he doesn't seem to have anything like the same inclination to do the defensive work.

That - defensive shape is amazing. Going forward we were fecking awful, far too far away from each other, too much space in midfield, passing was terrible.

I'd be starting Costa over Jota next time out.
