It was like a Lite version of Ronaldo vs Ashley Cole in Euro 2004. You don't often get a situation where the RW plays really well and so does the opposing LB (normally there's a fairly obvious winner) but that was the case on Saturday.

I thought Costa gave Shaw a torrid time and both players looked top class all game. Only thing Costa needs to add and that's goals. Jota still looks short of his good form but he's getting there and when those two click into gear in a few games time I think we will smash somebody (Palace or Watford) like we did Burnley only take more chances.

I'd say both Hart and De Gea pulled off good saves, but they were saves you'd expect your keeper to make.

Agreed. Both early chances were pretty much straight at De Gea.

Jota still looks like he's trying a bit too hard to me. Once he gets off the mark I think we'll really see him pick up steam.

Just seen it again and tend to agree, Shaw put his arm out and just shoved him over, they weren't even anywhere near shoulder to shoulder.
