I'm also of a similar age, but really Liverpool / man Utd / etc fans all know they are not real supporters.

But the bitterness just seems a bit embarrassing sometimes.

My dislike with them started around the luiz Suaresz saga and how they backed him over his racism charge and whined about his biting bans blaming everyone else but Suaresz himself.
