It's worked really, really well for them though, it'sa huge part of why they are where they are.
Yeah, it's quirky and risky but you can't argue with the returns.

It's like you wouldn't think parking a RWB who can't cross miles up the pitch and basically telling him he didn't have to defend would work but Nuno managed it with Doherty, and somehow it didn't get exposed too much defensively, we grew out of it mainly because teams worked out Doc couldn't carry the ball for shit so don't bother pressing him near halfway any more.

Coote is absolutely influenced by the player going down in every instance. Terrible ref.... can never let a game flow.

Seen pens given for less than that.... Mykolenko definitely gets him... but they only go that way for City and Liverpool.

Very disjointed second half with very little flow, Villa clearly the better side.
Tarkowski is blundering clumsy idiot, winning the ball and leaving one on the opponent is a concept left back in the 90’s

Tarkowski could easily be off the field 2 crunching tackles
Villa have been really poor in the final 3rd second half

Fuck off Coote you’d not have given a penalty if contact was reversed there.

Dyche masterclass.

The best at dragging games down to zero quality.
It's what he does, I think you're supposed to grudgingly respect it but I'm not sure I do. I'd hate watching his awful teams every week, it's like playing Monopoly against someone who decides from the first move that he's going to be a cunt, it's no fun for anyone.

Game without any quality. Bit of a battlefield.

It’s games like that you should always be happy when a Sean Dyche side gets beat.
Didn’t help having Coote in charge of that game to, Tarkowski very lucky not to walk.

I may have missed this, but why/how is Onana playing?! He should be at the ANC surely?

That's a 72m hammer of a finish. Quality.

Bosh.

@Elephant Pyjamas they did a deal with Cameroon as he sort of retired. Which of course makes a mockery of FIFA enforcing anything and how must the backup United keeper feel, we don't trust you to play any games!

I may have missed this, but why/how is Onana playing?! He should be at the ANC surely?
He asked Song to let him come late, and Song weirdly acquiesced. He (Onana) is flying out there almost immediately after this match.

I like Rigobert but Onana isn't worth the trouble.
