Sturridge makes a big difference to Liverpool. Hopefully his injury problems are now behind him.

He's never a top level striker and it shows how Liverpool are desperate up front. I don't think he's any better than Kane or Vardy either, Sturridge needs far to many chances whereas those 2 are clinical.

johnny, i remember you said Benteke would be better than sturridge at liverpool..i think that sturridge and benteke would be ideal for liverpool. we will see if Klopp pick it up..

Benteke fitted Rodgers system more than Klopp's as I don't think he is quite mobile enough for the German. I think Klopp would love a Kane/ Martial instead of Sturridge.
