Jagielka and Smalling are piss poor at the back, Jones and Henderson going through the motions and being by-passed in midfield.
Roy needs to remember the press will be judging this game more than beating a hapless Lithuania.

Wouldn't you know, we look miles better with Carrick in midfield.

We are very short at centre half Fred. Jagielka has been horrific all season, Cahill plays normally...there really isn't much else. Chambers maybe for the future but Arsenal have barely used him there. Dier isn't ready. Caulker is talented but keeps getting stuck at rubbish teams. Lescott is too old now. Tomkins is slow dross. Shawcross not up to this level.

Martinez seems to have sapped the ability and freedom from Barkley and made Jagielka horrendous. Quite an effort. Delph's having a mare but in general we look much better this half.
