I thought he did very well, up there with Sako until this week's wankfest Williams crocked him

That was painful stuff to watch if your and Ireland fan, created next to nothing and look shaky at the back.

Yep. Pretty bad. We started with a decent tempo, and finished the half with a half chance, but Poland are totally running the game, passing better, luring us into making silly fouls and they're first to the second ball every time.

The most embarrassing part is how the Polish have turned this into a home game. Our fans have been utter shite

I just don't see how humping the ball in Walters' general direction is a viable approach at this level. O'Neill deserves pelters for this, it's shocking football.

Not O'Neills fault, we were like this under Trap too. I've said it before, watching Ireland is like watching Wolves in the PL. Plenty of endeavour but we don't possess the technique, or even the footballing brain, to execute any kind of gameplan. We are very much a hit and hope team

If Scotland can play some decent stuff, surely Ireland can as well.

Matic wonder goal..game on

Coentrao 2-1, poor defending again

That's all to do with the manager, O'Neill like Trap is living in the past and hasn't moved with the times. Like Alan said even Scotland are looking to play good football under Strachan. This Ireland starting 11 is more than capable of playing some excellent and neat football with the likes of McCarthy, Hoolahan and McGeady etc.

Fuck me, both goals coming as soon as I've changed the channel... Shit luck as always. Looked a proper snoozefest just a minute ago.

Definitely. But the likes of Whelan, O'Shea, Wilson etc are letting us down and have been for years. At times we show sparks, like just now, but we frequently revert to long ball shite when things are not going our way

Shots on target: Ireland 10 - 5 Poland

We've improved in the second half but can't find a way through, scrappy chances really

Wow, having watched the portugal-serbia game..if i were serbias coach i would be fuming, portugal there for the taking and serbia rolling it around playing sideways and walking football..fucking hell, even 90 year olds with rollators have higher speed..they really must run off the ball and play more straightforward..

I suppose Ireland deserve that for effort alone and Poland have been rubbish since the break so they can't complain. No quality at all though.

No Alan, i rarely watch swedish football nowadays actually..
