Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Lovely walk in the Chase this morning. Open areas crisp and a few inches of snow. ..issue was the covered areas that had a layer of snow hiding 8 inches of mud. The Springer loved it though.

Few inches, where was that? Was a few millimetres when we were there just.

Up near Pye Green Tower. Only one area where it was deep, rest was just a covering.

Ah should have gone there! Kids were very disappointed.

Nathan Rao is a twat, I follow Liam Dutton on Twitter, top bloke and he's constantly making Rao look the twat he is.

...and the Daily Express immediately claim it is heading this way.
Really?

Have seen a few reports that parts of the UK will get heavy rain which will be linked to the USA storm. What are the Express saying?

Heavy rain. Which is possible. But of course it will be "a months rain in a day" like they always call it. The weather watch is for a bit of Scotland some of the northwest and possibly Wales, but the DE would have you believe that non-owners of arks are fucked across the entire country. Ridiculous hyperbole.

*cancels turning shed into an Ark*

I'll admit I'm obsessed with the weather, typical Brit, drive the Missus round the bend, for the foreseeable future it's gonna be mild and wet.

There is one hell of a joke screaming to be used from that post.....

Still waiting for the storm of the century to hit Leicestershire. We have had a bit of rain, but nothing untoward, though it has been rather windy

"Storm of the Century" was a term used while it was dumping 3 feet of snow in the States. Only one newspaper is using the term to relate to it arriving over here. I will let you guess which one...

I know, that is what I was alluding to. Sorry I couldn't help myself...

It's not a specifically British trait.

So now storm Imogen is set to strike. I think things were better before we named these weather fronts..

Gave them names and now they are rushing over here to be famous. Not long before one of these storms is in Celebrity Big Brother
