Good people of Britain...........PANIC

When did we start giving gusts of winds names?

The next gust of wind Craig is now called 'Barney'.
And it'll come to play in your area tomorrow. (tuesday)
Winds up around 70mph, trees down etc etc.

They only name these things if they have a potential to cause damage.

Is it called barney because of the rubble it's going to leave behind?

My chicken run is very wet, almost puddling in places. Bloody chickens paddling around in mud.
It's the devil's job I have getting them to wipe their feet before they go into their chicken house at night.

Slightly blowy in the West Country - enough to drive the cat back in, as she doesn't like the wind, but not enough to move anything around

Just been in the garden to rescue the swing seat.

A fucking swing seats just landed in my garden in Cannock :)

It's properly blowy out here in Wales, driving the double deckers been exciting shall we say,and I've just heard the winds blown some historical piles of rubbish in Dudley over

Interesting drive home from the in-laws. 2 stops to clear the road of branches. Pretty dangerous from Wyrley to New Invention down the lanes

You should have called the Police. And asked for the Special Branch...

Blowing a hoolie now and our back garden fence looks like a busted accordion.

Leccy went off over here at 16.30. Candles came in useful, had a romantic dinner from the chippy! Luckily back on at 19.20 in time for the match. A few trees down here and there apparently. Wind is dropping now, exactly as was predicted by 9 o'clock.

Apparently the Fort shopping sign has blown down!
