General Wolves News

As long as they have binned the Sporting Director having a veto on transfer deals.

Works both ways doesn’t it. On the one hand, it’s unfair on Hobbs to expect him to do poorly. On the other, it’s unfair to expect Shi to get it right.

Rock + hard place.

Hobbs will have bugger all say over anything in the grand scheme of things unless we're drastically changing how we run the club.

We're basically back to 2017-2020 where we have a proper manager and he makes the calls. But Mendes also has a lot of influence.

Thelwell again then basically, he was replaced by Sellars the guy below him, Sellars is replaced by Hobbs the guy below him

They've changed the title back to Sporting director right? Sellars was 'Technical director'. Not that it seems there is actually any difference

Tried to leave?
Can’t be that difficult, you hand a letter in and say I’m off in a month just letting you know.

Fair enough, but for 12 months?
Is Scott saying I’ve been shit at my job for a year and actively trying to get the sack? Err hold on, I think the answers yes, he instigated Brunoball by the looks of it, just to get some cash.

One of several points raised by that tweet that don’t feel like they are ringing quite true. Nothing concrete but something doesn’t feel entirely right and I can’t place it.

Can’t we be happy that a good thing happened?

That Sellars news feels a bit Lambert telling a mate in the press to cover his side.

If he was angling to leave a year ago, I just don't think Jeff would have stopped him. At that point it would have been perfect for the next stage in Jeff's take over the World masterplan.

Was it talkingwolves who said we signed Sasa knowing he had a partial ACL tear?

(I know this turned out to be bollocks, just trying to understand if they've spouted untrue stuff before)
