Correct. It will be ‘negotiated mutual consent’ to get round that. IE here is some money to go away.
So he’s Kwarteng and Shi is Truss? Can't help feeling Sellars is something of a fall guy for Jeff Shi's failings. Problem is we'll never know exactly how the decision making structure operated and quite what he can be blamed for. Certainly not the ridiculous idea that it was him secretly calling the shots behind Steve Davis' back. In his interview Saiss suggested that Sellars didn't want him to go and that it was Shi effectively forcing him out. If he was merely the one who implemented decisions Shi made then he's tarred by association I suppose. It does appear to let Jeff off the hook though.
Yeh Brexit is so yesterday, lets start Chexit !! Chinese out Chinese out (but obviously not your money)Every "great" leader needs a fall guy. Can`t see the Chinese ever getting rid of one of their own.
Tbh he'd have been top of my hitlist, even above Sellars and Shi.Hopefully Vinny is next

Looking at his job from Jeff's view he has actually done some good things. The deal with Castore probably his best moment.Mine too. A bloke with no redeeming features whatsoever.

Looking at his job from a fans POV...he is fookin awful. His comms dreadful and his reasoning behind things such as ticket increases a bit pathetic BUT whilst the majority on here were fuming at him, out in the wider world the reaction was mainly positive (no clue why...oh I'm skint but you want to charge me more to watch, go on then Vin)
I think he is safe for now and to be honest, I would prefer if Jeff concentrated on sorting out the mess he created on the pitch. It has felt like since Covid the playing bit has been ignored and treated as "well that's sorted, put that to the side for now".
The actions of the last few weeks are hopefully showing a realisation that no matter how important he feels things like the brand and expanding that are, it should always be whats on the pitch is number 1 priority. That fails and everything else fails.
If he has finally got that and put the trust in people who know what they are doing, then move on to doing the same with the non footballing team.
My belief is Jeff is on a final chance with this job with Fosun watching carefully. His way has failed, is he big enough to accept it and move forward. Early signs are positive but hopefully not done too late to save shit this season.
Not noticed it's bought up that much on here tbh.Am I the only who is a smidge uncomfortable with how often Shi's ethnicity is being brought up?
The Chinese aren't the only people in the world who circle the wagons and protect their own first...
Been a recent uptick since the Sellars news, IMV. Not trying to have a go at anyone. Know I'm more sensitive to that sort of thing than many here (which I don't mean to sound condescending, if it does). Not noticed it's bought up that much on here tbh.
I've bought it up as I think to understand decisions it helps to understand Chinese business.Am I the only who is a smidge uncomfortable with how often Shi's ethnicity is being brought up?

Fabio went off injured after 6 minutes for U21s. Photo shows him in tears so assuming something that will keep him out a while.
