Listening to a webinar with him a couple of years ago - the numbers are the start point and then they can watch them, get references etc. He is then often the guy who then presents to the players when they are trying to sign them.

Arteta binned him pretty quickly. I know sometimes jobs don't work out but I wonder why.

Every club knew about Kante as his stats were off the chart (same with Bissouma) but the bigger clubs aren't usually willing to gamble on stats alone.
