6 year contract… JLO’s legacy.

As bad as he is defensively, he’s no threat in the opposition box either. He doesn’t even chip in with the odd goal like zouma, aguerd, Dawson or even diop did. So soft and meek.

Makes Upson look like Rambo the wet lettuce

A weak, weak central defender. He is basically Roger Johnson. Looked good next to Scott Dann, useless the rest of his career.

The goal managed to expose all the worst parts of Kilman in a single move. It's why I've not taken to him since his debut.
* He was the last line of defence and within touching distance of Mateta on the halfway line, when Eze receives the ball, he then pulls our backline apart.
* He helps telegraph the pass for Eze, by racing backwards and not following the run of Mateta.
* He never got within a yard of Mateta again, as he chose retreating to his own area ala Roger ****ing Johnson, giving him a free run ball towards the box.
* Puts in a half hearted attempt to block the shot, with his back to goal.
Lightening quick midfielders and adventurous full backs seemed to be the go to excuses for him... but I see that is beginning to wear thin now.

I mentioned in the match thread, but Kilman is one of the most gutless and indecisive centre backs I've seen play for us. Whether a defender is a no-nonsense brick wall or a ball-player, they've at least got to have bravery or decision-making to their game, and Kilman seems to lack both.

I told the fans on there and twitter after they’d got Lop and max they’d be booing either one of or both before Christmas, got told I was just jealous that West Ham had stolen our best defender

Seems Afobe is now a free agent after bouncing around a few jokeshop desert league clubs. The last one being in the Qatari second tier.

Turns 32 next month, you'd think he could still do some kind of a job at Championship level. He really did kill his own career though thinking he was Dennis Bergkamp rather than Ian Wright.
