I'm sure at one point early in his career I said he'd go on to have a similar career arc to Gareth Bale, ending up playing predominantly off the right and terrorising Champions League left backs.

Bit of an OTT reaction to him beating Walker once, no? He did a few exciting things from time to time but people got way too giddy about him being fast and liking step overs.
