I don't think selling him was the wrong thing to do, but I bet this time next year we'll be regretting it.

On the one hand we shouldn't be planning based on relegation on the other we aren't doing much planning to stay up either.

Oh I agree, but he's an above average Championship player, who'll improve now he's got a permanent team and we'll be looking for those in 6 months.

Mike Williamson sacked by Carlisle.

Not a great few months for him. Did a wonderful job at Gateshead and was doing pretty well at McDons. Walked out on them presumably because he still has a base in the North East dating back to his days at Newcastle and joins Carlisle. Rock bottom and sacked after 25 games.

The ridiculous thing is they've let him sign 10 players this window and then sacked him on the final day.
