I was about to say similar things. Hes made the absolute most of his footballing talent and made a position he hadn't really played in before his own.I think its slightly nuanced - Coady clearly isn't one of our best ever defenders as a player (Boly is head and shoulders a better defender), but as a captain and leader he's by far and away the best I've ever seen at Wolves. Its also fair to say that our current success probably wouldn't have happened without him - the sweeper role was essential to our style in Nuno's first three seasons, there is no one else who could have done that role as well as him.
I hope he stays at the club long after his playing days are over.
