He's looking good with Diaz, he was shite last season, England V Holland all season, he was dropped repeatedly.

He has had a fantastic season, but Diaz has been City's glue Stones without Diaz is not that good.

Last season no Diaz, he was fucking useless, in and out the team, his performance V Holland in the semi Final of the nations league was fucking shocking.
Diaz came in and Stones looks decent, no Diaz, Stones looks what he is a poor central defender.

I think in his last England game (San Marino?) he kicked a man up in the air on the half way line for no reason. Almost every time I see him play there is an episode where he could get red carded for dangerous play.

I remember seeing that, it was the last minutes and we were cruising 5-0 up and he completely ploughed into the player. It was unnecessary on every possible level.

Mentioned it the other day but Verratti is going with Italy and he definitely won't play at the least the first two games.

France took an injured Zidane to the 2002 World Cup, only played their final group game and was essentially like Sako was in the "he's got all summer to get over it" games.
