Euro 2016 Qualifiers - The Road to France

Pellegrini will be delighted with that...

I like our back four at the moment. Good competition behind them as well.

Yep

My seven for next year would be

Clyne

Jones
Smalling
Stones
Cahill

Baines
Shaw

Sorry for Jagielka, Gibbs etc but tough titty

England look very much in friendly mode here, Swiss very much on top.

Looks a lot better than about a year ago!

Midfield is definitely the concern now. Carrick and Wilshere are probably our best midfielders, but both are injured all the time. Next in line is Henderson who's been great for liverpool and improved a lot but has yet to put in any meaningful performances for England, I still don't think he is good enough if we want to o well at the euros.

Glad Shelvey is getting an opportunity mind. He's been great for Swansea for a while now.

Assuming Kane, Rooney, Welbesk and Sturridge go up top.

It leaves 9

Carrick
Wilshire
Barkley
Oxlade-Chamberlian
Walcott
Sterling
Milner
Henderson

makes 8

Lallanna
Delph
Shelvey

potentially miss out

Tough choices

Really depends on fitness of Welbeck and Sturridge there I guess. I don't have much faith that Sturridge is going to stay fit even once he gets back.

Not sure Welbeck will go, Roy seems to think he's out until Feb-March.

Sturridge still has everything to prove at this level, I think he's been poor for England so far. Of course he'll go though if fit (big if).

I think he will..good he made surgery on that hip, has been niggling him for a long time now..sturridge that is..dont think welbs will be ready

What are Sweden playing at Fred? Messed it right up in the last week.

Sturridge, Kane, Rooney is a really good three to have mind. Then you have Walcott I suppose. Or if Vardy keeps going at the rate he has lately!

I would take Welbeck ahead of Sturridge

Kane for Shelvey is pretty bold.

Yeah has been horrible..both goals from throw ins ala Delap..we have had our chances too but, we will see..4-3-3 now

San Marino have equalised against Lithuania.

A lot at stakes, dont play together at club level, international coach wants you to play in a different way?? Must be tons of reasons

Nice finish by Kane, very calm

Nice one Harry. Much better since HT.
