Euro 2016 Qualifiers - The Road to France

West Ham bound when Sam starts fucking up again. Hammers fans worship the bloke.

Without a doubt, but they could have had him when they sacked Zola...and appointed Avram the Sham.

Seems odd but the Pornodwarves don't seem that way inclined.

No, just the same type.

It may be for the first time in years England look a higher quality squad..

The Dutch have had world class performers on the international stage in forward positions in the likes of Robben, Sneider and Van Persie and that is why they have had success. The rest of the squad has always been bang average and I'd say of a lesser quality than England.

I dunno, their 98 team was pretty special all over the park.

--------------------Van der Sar---------------------

Reiziger------Stam------F de Boer----------Numan

------------Seedorf---Davids---Cocu---------------

--------------Bergkamp-----Overmars-------------

----------------------Kluivert--------------------------

With the likes of Ronald de Boer and Hasselbaink on the bench. They should have won that World Cup.

Sorry, I should have stated over the last 10 years. I used the example of the forwards above as the period I should have been referring to. They were top class from 1988 to 1996 too and apart from the one major success internal conflicts seem to hinder them.

Ah, agreed in that case. They haven't had good quality at the back for ages.

Danny Rose called up to the England squad to replace Luke Shaw.

oof didnt Nando called that one..

I also see that Green has been called up as fourth choice goalkeeper?

Forster has pulled out I think. So he has called Green up and took Butland out of the U21's as well.

Would rather Heaton had been called up tbh (especially as Hart will probably play both games anyway, so you're just giving experience of being around a squad to the back up keepers), he's done well this season and who knows, might have a bit of a future part to play for England, he's still only 28. Green is 35 and wasn't good enough years ago so I really don't see the point.

Shit career move by Alex McCarthy, he's a great talent but wasting his career sat on QPR's bench at the moment.

Sturridge looks like he's pulling out of the squad again, the man is a flake.

England manager Roy Hodgson: "We thought we had three top-class goalkeepers, but now we only have one. We are devastated about Fraser Forster, I've been in touch with him but there's not much you can say, the same with Ben Foster, his cruciate injury is going to keep him out for this and a good bit of next season.

"In all of these situations it's now an opportunity for other goalkeepers to show me and my coaching staff what they can do. We are very sad for Fraser and Ben, and trust they are going to be back. But for the meantime we will have to look elsewhere."

Welcome to the squad Jack and Rob 0.o

Latvia up 1-0 against Czech Republic. Awful result for the Czech's if it stands.

Kaspars Gorkks still makes Latvia's XI which speaks volumes about their defensive quality.

Eder scores the equalizer for Italy against Bulgaria, which hopefully makes Mancini et al. rethink their recent nationalistic comments about the makeup of the Italian side.
