Yes, it’s a slight improvement on what we’ve had over the last 3-4 games - but given the quality of the opposition - this is still absolute dross.

Zero shots on target, despite looking threatening every time we go forward. We are still asking way too much of Neto and Podence - no surprise they are looking frustrated. No point on bringing on Adama, either - as we’ll still have the same game plan - pass it to him and hope he can do something.

We are still far too slow moving the ball and having Moutinho with his backwards passing just isn’t giving us any creativity in the middle of the pitch. Not a good watch.

Not that anyone will care if we go on to win. That said, Nuno is being let down by his wing backs at the moment - Hoever and Semedo have both been pretty dreadful.

Pretty decent first half I thought. Nice cup of tea to start the game - cracking piece of the wife's fruit cake in the tenth minute. Decent pee in the 35th. Reasonable half of football. Probably bring another slice of fruit cake on around the 60th/65th...

Well it's still 0-0 which we'll probably be satisfied with as that seems the limit of our ambitions. But that was utter fucking garbage IMO. Podence and Semedo both look like they have completely forgotten how to do even basic things correctly. I feel sorry for Neto as he's the only attacking player worth a damn in this team today. Coady is having one of those games where he's going to make a mistake that will cost us. Boly and Kilman have done ok. But that's it. Awful again.

Not sure why people expected anything different, its our default style since we came up apart from the few 4 at the back games we've used.
Think we've played some decent stuff, just been our final ball/run thats let us down.....disappointed we haven't had any shots obviously.

We look good on the ball defensively and in the middle of the pitch but painfully poor in passing and movement in the final third. Our front three are still miles too far apart from each other too often. We badly need to make 4-2-3-1 work defensively as we need the extra attacker.

That would be asking for trouble in this formation I think. When we play through joao we have got neto and Podence into good positions
