I think it's fair to say you won't convince them and as such you are 'floggin a dead oss' so I'd 'wind your neck in'. While there is a debate out there about the integrity/agenda of the media it's probably best to discount the Daily Mail (as it's entire purpose is to promote labels and reinforce divisions).
