Question for a mod, how long is the ban for?
Should be sorted now.
Apologies for the delay. As it's not an actual ban it doesn't auto time out. Your permissions had to be put back manually.
No problem and thank you.
If you cant post on the referendum thread let us know instead of cluttering up other threads with your blathering.
Members should endeavour to stay broadly on topic. Should a thread deviate strongly from its original topic, mods/admins may move appropriate posts to a new thread.
Its off topic.
As per the CoC:
This thread is about your victim complex, not about the opinions of Spanish MEPs.
Yes, but I can't post on that forum, but I can read it if I log off.
You could say the referendum thread is about the EU and Brexit, but it never stopped you talking about paper, mountains of paper and office equipment. Hahaha
This thread is not about victimisation, it is about someone who abuses his power to only have to speak and listen to people who have the same opinions as him and from the same background as him.
Just a small point of issue. Firstly I don't and won't ever ask for any person to be banned, however I got a 2 week ban for one statement, not even insulting a member, but to tell him to stop creeping to a mod. The reason was given, that I repeatedly use inflammatory language, which is not only wrong but also a lie.
I have probably been insulted more than any other posters on this forum in the 5 years I have ever posted on here, however no poster has ever been banned for insulting me. I make an off the cuff remark about a poster creeping and I get banned for 2 weeks. Another poster continuously insults, abuses even through private messages, but his is usually no ban or a 3 day ban. I think he might have had a 7 day ban once, but has never recieved a 2 week ban. Which looking at the context, makes my 2 week ban, for not even insulting or threatening and definitely couldn't be classified as inflammatory, even more strange.
It seems some are able to say what they like and get away with it and others get much more punitive punishments for a hell of a lot less.
It is true that this is now in the past and things move on, however I thought I would bring it to the attention of the forum, that injustices are seen as ok on this forum, as long as they are dished out against people who disagree with a certain mod.

You take this place too serious.
