It's complex, I'd have to de-register from where I am now and then sign up to that, and it's not something I really want to be on as it's totally fucked up for the self-employed. A nonsense of a system.

I'm a bit lost to be honest. I'm glad I saved responsibly over the last 18 months or so which means I'm not destitute but I keep going through the numbers and it's fucked.

Would hope that they bring out assistance for the self employed soon for your sake & my son whose business is really struggling to survive now. He has some reserves if it goes under, but the premises have legal elements on how long he is locked into them for so can't just walk away. Little new business coming in for now. Doesn't employ staff, just 2 owners, but that's their only income source

I did post the reason why yesterday... Isolating the vulnerable, testing on a large scale and not allowing young family members to interact with the isolated. Italy is a country where the family are really close and will have intermingled therefore spreading the virus

This has seriously passed joking time. We are heading toward a LOT of people not coming out the other side of this. Keep safe everyone, look out for the older neighbours and don't invite this virus into your homes either. It's going to be bad, but hopefully with sensible behaviour we can keep the level of bad to manageable.
