I'm shocked....It's amazing how people are pretty sure their choice would be better even though they have no knowledge of this and they are just as ill equipped to deal with something unprecedented in the last generation at least, they are all just puppets of the health authorities / scientists who are really running the show.
At least Corbyn might show the thing a bit of fucking dignity.
Yes if he was on the stage at Glastonbury with a rapper feigning concern
So just had an office meeting. Due to most of the oems closing here in the States the plant is deciding to close till the 30th
The option that was given to me was,
Either take a weeks vacation or take a weeks unpaid leave. There's a lot of unhappy people in the office right now.
I know I won't be answering any calls or emails till the 30th that's for sure!
Rishi Sunak managed it on Tuesday and he's only been in Government for five minutes.
I'm starting to think that the stammering, bumbling act that Boris decided to put on years ago (I don't know why, it's not funny and it serves no purpose) is now so ingrained in him that he can't do anything else. He isn't as clever as he thinks he is but he's certainly not thick. So why speak like that? Why show such little clarity? Why get the tone so relentlessly wrong?
I would still rather have him than T-Boz though as she's a genuinely appalling person, she holds dreadful beliefs and is actually an even worse speaker.
A walk around Telford Sainsbury’s at about 1600 today was a depressing indictment on society. Basically if your diet consists of pickled veg, yogurt, chocolate, nuts, alcohol and some cheese you’re ok forget the rest.
We’re not on the verge of a nuclear war then yes I could understand the panic, this situation would resolve itself very quickly if everyone just shopped as they normally Would it would resolve itself.
First thing to do get through is the worst of the virus, next problem will be rebuilding the economy unemployment is already rising and the ripple effects could see it rise further for the next year.
Panic buying occurs as a few go mad - then others who wouldn't think they need more but should before it all goes start getting supplies and within hours everyone is at it.
Was in Shaftesbury this morning - Tesco's had no milk, no paper items etc. & limited supply of tinned goods
Didn't really need anything much just wanted to see what it was like as have enough to feed myself for a couple of weeks (even if I get bored of the menu towards th end)
Started off with bog roll then shifted to long life food now has shifted to everything
Dear Parents/Carers,
Apologies for the late email but I have been waiting for clarification with regards to 'key worker'. The Government told us that we would be given a definitive list by today but this has not happened. I realise that this is frustrating but as soon as I have this information I will contact you again.
Tomorrow I will also send out information regarding what activities we will be providing for your children whilst they are at home.
Keep yourselves safe and continue to follow all advice from the government.
Many thanks for your continued support and understanding during these unprecedented times.
