Bloody hell life is returning, we're hoping to play Friday night footie again next Friday, albeit outdoors, then my first haircut since August is booked for Wednesday 28th

Me too

At nearly 50 and having done no running or kicking for over a year since we last played in March 2020 though I'm a bit apprehensive

I play in goal so just have to dive around like a man 20 years younger than I actually am!

I'm 57 in a few months but the reflexes were still there last year

I've still been doing daily exercise bike and walking but not the same as running and kicking!

Wales bringing stuff forward based on like, evidence and stuff.

But no, we'll carry on sitting on our hands for months because lockdown is ACE.

Just a few more days. Just a few more weeks. Just a few more months.

Does a week make that much difference either way?
For the mental wellbeing of the people able to get back to normality a week earlier than expected, probably yes but you'd have to ask someone who has seriously suffered through the last year and a bit

We've been able to play the last 2 Thursdays outdoors at Kiddy leisure centre, it's good to kick a ball again!

You normally go 4 months+ without a haircut? Barbers were open until early Jan

Well, last year, we had 112 consecutive days of hard lockdown in Melbourne and that literally nearly drove me insane. We had another 5 day lockdown in February this year (based on literally half a dozen cases) and our vaccine rollout is glacier in its pace here in Oz.

However, given what you guys have gone through in the UK in the last 6-12 months, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy (or a Baggies supporter).

Interestingly the 5 day lockdown in Melbourne seemed to cause more angst than last years long one as many people were literally over any lockdown. I would fear what would happen in the UK after what you’ve gone through if another lockdown was mooted due to whatever reason.

This isn’t living it’s existing.

Frozen out, great day for a pint in the beer garden.
