Coronavirus

Its not 3 months of this though is it. 7 more weeks of this then things do start happening. At that point you will be able to get a drink, even if it outdoors. Then a month later more can be done etc

In less than 4 months this whole thing ***should*** be over.

The 21st of June will hopefully be a day of celebration!

I agree in principle. Equally I can't help feel there needs to be a mourning period for many of the people, and things we have lost.

What I absolutely don't want is some hokum ceremony or whatever where Johnson, Hancock, Sunak etc get to cry crocodile tears. This is on them.

but Hancock has nailed the fake crying though. We deserve to see that again

Back to being annoyed with our Media. So this morning was the good news on the Vaccines from the Scottish Data.

Then this

Robert Peston
@Peston
Although data from Scotland on the vaccine protection is very encouraging, the research shows a significant fall in overall efficacy and impact on hospitalisations 34 days after first dose (remember under the UK programme second dose is now within 90 days)

-----

This despite people actually knowing what they are talking about have stated this on the drop off after 34 days "the drop off is only due to lack of data! Not because immunity wears off!"

Er, makes no sense.

Rachel's Dad had his first dose...about 34 days ago. And he was near the front of the queue.

You can't measure things that don't exist.

He has essentially looked at the graphs and gone "blimey, the results drop off after 34 days, that should be the take on this story"
Then failed to actually read the blurb where it says essentially ignore figures after day 34 as we have next to no data for it yet.

and he tweeted that a shortwhile ago. So he has had all day to look up stuff instead he waits until most people are feeling a little better with stuff that has happened today and decided it was time to knock everyones mood down and peg or 4

He's the Lukas Podolski of journalism. Had one tiny good spell (the 08/09 financial crisis when it first broke) and lived off that forever, despite being shite.

Not quite sure what it says when the prime minister can’t be on time for a briefing the whole country.

Boris Johnson/Date of birth
19 June 1964

Guess who is having a mega Birthday party on the 21st June

Does it take into account that he looks 67, not 57?
