Coronavirus

What do you consider an acceptable death toll to keep hospitality going ?

(And please don't give ,me the "I went in a pub the once and it was fine")
The vast majority of pubs are abiding by the rules, and are a lot safer than shops and supermarkets. Supermarkets especially seem to have abandoned all the measures they had in place in March & April and it's now just a free for all.

or what will more than likely happen to put the cherry on the 2020 shitcake is the day before some of use can visit again, Wolverhampton will be put into Tier 3
Thats true!
oh and 2000-4000 inside Molineux whilst being great to be back will be a big back of shit
Agree but its gotta be a start, as a non STH I've got 0 chance till its back to 100% capacity anyway but even if that wasn't the case don't think I'd be in any rush to return with 2000 in.

I noticed this, you don't see the big queues outside anymore like you did through out March, April, May etc despite the measures supposedly being as strict as they were then.

Get the vaccines injected and we could be back at the molineux this season

The 70% would still be more effective than the flu jab which doesn't get headlines for being ineffective.
70% would be more than good enough - as said better than the odds I was quoted when I got my flu jab (though few are catching that this year as most are isolating themselves).

Depending on how its given may well be a higher % anyway & likely that the Oxford one which will be offered via local networks (GP's etc) which as I am in a rural area is the most likely source.

The measures aren't the same. The 2m rule doesn't apply, thus more people are allowed in the stores.

Speaking in the House of Commons on June 23, Boris Johnson explained that a one metre gap was permissible, as long as that was coupled with risk-reducing measures.

He said: “Where it is possible to keep two metres apart, people should.

“But where it is not, we will advise people to keep a social distance of one metre-plus, meaning they should remain one metre apart, while taking mitigations to reduce the risk of transmission.”

Some supermarkets are still restricting entry & some have just given up - Waitrose is still manning the door & only letting a max number in though only issue there is that most customers are elderley (& I do recognise the irony of that comment given my age) so keep getting in the way.

If a few are allowed back into Molineux then will I come if offered the chance?

A long way to come for what might well be a tepid experience - will wait till I have received a vaccine (if they get approved) then see what I feel like.

Presumed they reverted back to the original measures during this lockdown.

Either way the stores certainly aren't policing it in the way they were earlier on. At my local supermarket until June/July there was someone at the door staggering people going in etc now all there is is a green or red light above the door that nobody even notices.

The moaning on twitter about who has been let in and who does/doesn't deserve it is going to be fun, can't wait.
Ha true, tbf if 2000 are let in how many of those will be club employees etc any such ballot (thats they way they're doing it aren't they) will see what 500 max of those tickets.

Bit annoyed some of the people (not so much Wolves but other clubs) who've been let in these behind closed doors games. Celebs and ex players with tedious 'media' links as an excuse.

I'd step over most of you lots cold dead bodies to get back into watching proper football. This sterile shite is garbage.

Easy to make people stand outside in June/July though when the sun is generally out.

Stepping over you first...but still think a few thousand will be shit (even though I will be there the moment they ask).

I agree that they are nowhere near as careful in the measures that they are supposed to have in place. I'm getting fed up of having to find staff to re-stock the bacterial sprays/hand gels/kitchen roll that should be there on entry to the stores.

If you have to be hospitalised then they can tell - though if not then could well be either
Unless you go into hospital for something else but catch Covid in there (told its rife in new cross by someone I know who works there) then croke it, they're still putting Covid on your death certificate.

Happened to a family friend ok he was very ill with cancer and would have likely died anyway but hadn't left the house etc for months no Covid symptoms tested on arrival negative. Died in hospital.....what was added to the death certificate as a cause of death, the Covid 19 he caught whilst in there.
