That's exactly what I've thought for a few days now

Stopping the PL might be counter productive.

It does rely a bit on people not coughing all over their elderly relatives though

I do think the British culture will help, we aren't particularly touchy / feely when we greet each other - especially now we aren't shaking hands and we certainly don't kiss regularly when we greet friends and now every is washing their hands the ways of being infected are being controlled

I don't see my parents that often and most people I know are the same but I am assuming most people behave in this way. Someone people have no choice but hopefully we won't be infecting all the vulnerable people at the same time.

I think if you're a school teacher you can assume you have coronavirus and if you're a parent you'll get it very soon

It'll be a tough few months but hopefully it won't get too bad and if it does there are further measures we can implement

I think in a few days Italys numbers will decrease sharply and then they'll have to decide how they move forward. At some point places like Lombardy will go from being totally overwhelmed to have herd immunity and ever decreasing cases.

If we play it well we'll have a very disrupted few months but then get over the hump

A bit tongue in cheek but I'd like to see all premier league squads and staff get infected now so they can recover and we can crack on come april!

Heard from a few people schools are preparing to close next Friday.

If schools are closed for an extended period of time I will be financially ruined. I rely on schools for my work but am self employed. I could withstand a couple of weeks but anything longer and I'll end up in deep trouble.

I know of a muti-millionaire who is going to struggle unless the government steps in. He's a complete cunt so I couldn't give a flying fuck if he and his family end up destitute.

In fact it would be karma. Sadly he won't but it's nice to know the world can fuck up those that deserve it.

This mass panic and virus will affect the poorest and most at risk people the most- those living paycheck to paycheck, those with loans, those in poor health. Multimillionaires will be fine. People here are stockpiling food and medicine but 1/3 of the people are pensioners getting 150-300 euros a month, they cant afford to stockpile anything

I work for a charity,providing transport for the community,at the moment I take SEN kids to school,I've asked if the schools are off,do we stop at home? Been told by manager we'll find work for you,but it'll be elderly daycare centres and the like,I've raised the question of will that be safe? Only to be told we think so.
I've then asked if I refuse,due to possibly being contagious,will there be disciplinary action taken? To which the answer was yes,you're refusing to work,mind you,this is the same manager that bullied a coworker into quitting when she told him to man up and get a grip over his depression when he came back to work

1) Says Prem League should be voided for this season and therefore deny Liverpool their deserved title

At the moment all I can do is hope for the best and ask my landlord and bank for payment holidays on my rent and a loan that I have. Those things would help but if I'm unable to earn for a lengthy period I won't survive. As it is I have to work with fine margins because of budgeting around school holidays.

Oof. She will be RAWK’s number one favourite person of the year. I really hope the season plays out and West Ham and Villa get relegated, while recognising it will take a miracle run from Norwich to also bin off Bournemouth.
