Brighton 3-3 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I think the "solutions in the team" is a nod towards players learning from their mistakes.
He’s not going to throw them under the bus after what happened in the second half.
He knows exactly what we need this month in terms of signings

Nuno also says the solutions are within the team, not the transfer market. Unless Raul is fit to play next week i don't agree...
Unless Raul coming back stops our players making stupid errors at the back I agree with Nuno on that issue

Yes we need a striker but that is a different issue to the ones that cost us today/v Spurs/v Villa etc etc

It sounded like "We don't need any more players, we have all we need" to me.

As YoungWolf said, he isn't exactly going to say "my current crop are dog shit, I need X players". He has said plenty of times the squad needs re-balancing.

I agree the players need to stop making mistakes, but today, and all the other matches you mentioned we didn't have the focal point up front, one who can not only score, but hold the ball up giving enough time for others to join the attack.

but he also mentioned the need to rebalance the squad. That is a different issue to the errors we are making and one that covers transfers

Good point, but i wish they would do it sooner than later.

Did he in that interview? I missed it if he did.

2 different things aren't they though. We have had games where Raul has been next to useless at holding the ball up but we have generally covered that by being solid and keeping our heads. That is one thing we seem to be struggling with this season

The way I read it his opinion is more that all is not right.

Why does saying that get fast tracked to 'he wants Nuno out'?

Just like anyone having a moan gets told their not really Wolves supporters, or they should leave the forum or some other nonsense
This post got liked by Jinky and Direwolf

This is my concern - we just don't seem solid at the back at all. We have to go back to basics against Everton for me.

I don't think that Dire ever said that Nuno was like Nero. What he was saying is some supporters are like said Nero and believe that everything is fine with the team and selections.
May I say I want to know what we are supposed to be evolving into.
As long as it’s not a championship team I will have a bit of patience

I have seen some poor shit this season though

It's a giant shitberg on this forum which used to be great.

Some of the new posters are poison.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion - just put yours forward. I have been going to Wolves for 54 years & my opinion is valid. This current set up is taking us nowhere whereas last season with loads of matches we looked good. Moutinho needs replacing & the keeper needs to be taught how to dominate his box or go back to Europe.

Should have won but how do you prepare for your most experienced player making such an idiotic decision? That clearly shook such a young team and we struggled to recover.

We're going through a transition that hasn't been helped by several key injuries. The least Nuno deserves is a little faith in him as he tries to find a way through it.

Oh, and congratulations to Jinky for his pessimism winning through in the end. You really showed us there, mate - good work.
I don’t know what games you have been watching but awaiting the next disaster from Moutinho has become the default position for me. Sell him in January please - he did well for us but is clearly past it.

I think this is the toughest period Nuno has faced since being here, first time he’s had a number of injuries and probably one of the worse run of forms to.
Certain mistakes we aren’t learning from ie giving away needless penalties

You have a partial point but I can’t completely agree. Patricio is off form and has been all December. At least three goals against are in the could do better category for me. Moutinho I got abuse for saying he should be dropped over a month ago. Otasowie looks a better fit alongside Neves at the moment. Also his set pieces suck! Yes , we are carrying injuries but that’s why you buy squad depth not potential. We acted a bit like City in the summer and bought potential and it’s bitten us in the ass. However we have a window to rectify it. Over to you Jeff and Fosun

seems many are forgetting there were complaints about negative play before raul was injured. people keep talking about the transfer window like whatever handoffs we would be able to sign in jan will be a magic bullet to the teams problems.
