It's a done deal with Lambert, according to the BBC. Good enough for me. Hopefully Lambert will be the right man. He's certainly well qualified enough. Personally, I think that he's a great choice.

    I'll take Pearson.

    Blackburn 1 - Wolves 1 Verdict thread

Cody/Prince/Saiss/Coady/Evans - perm any two of the five as your central midfielders. Doesn't matter much who. I would then play two attacking out widers - Cav and Costa. And two up front - Bod and Dicko. Defence all much of a muchness. Call it 4-4-2 or 4-2-4, either way it's a good positive...

    Blackburn 1 - Wolves 1 Verdict thread

I wanted Wallace to be given another chance. I was clearly wrong. I think Coady is worth his place, and unfortunately it's hard to knock Dave Edwards when he works so hard, gees up the players, and gets some goals. I can't see the point of Saiss. Cav needs to start games. Interesting also...

He may not need the money, but let's just say he has a keen interest in it.

I hope that Fosun take their time over this one. Zenga, his team, and all the signings were all done in a mad rush. The new guy will need to trim the squad down before he adds.

My apologies, get rid of Wallace !! As it happens Joe Mason is pretty well in the same boat too.

Also I may be in a minority of one, but I dont get the big deal about Saiss. Especially when we keep losing with him.

Well, take Jed Wallace for example. He was really running into form, two goals including that cracker against Birmingham. He hasn't had a look in since.

Perfectly natural that there would be tension if 10 players turn up in rapid succession. If I were Price, Wallace, Saville or Evans, I would be well pissed off I couldnt get a look in because of Prince, Saiss or Tex. In my opinion, only Costa, and to a lesser extent Bodvarson, have really...

A classic combination would be Ferguson Senior and Ferguson Junior. I would take that happily. Ferguson senior has always been well disposed to us, and Darren played for us. It goes without saying that getting Ferguson back would go down well in China.

First things first, we have to get out of the Championship. Someone who can get to grips with a rainy night at Burton Albion. I'm not sure I'd wish that on AVB or Silva. Painful though it is to say, Allardyce would be the best bet.

Paki or Paco, this Ayesteran is actually well credentialled.

Big Sam and Mendes would get into too big a row about the commission.

My son asked me if Mcarthy could be on his way back. Our luck, we'll just get Terry Connor.

Had we beaten Leeds we would have been ninth, not eighteenth. Too early in my view, especially if he had the support of the dressing room. Having said that, I am excited to see his replacement. As long as it's not Roy Hodgson.

    Zenga

The fact that Zenga's family live in Dubai was known to Fosun. Presumably he told them that he would like to see his family occasionally.

    Zenga

As much as our form is worrying, it would be disgraceful if Zenga wasnt given until December to turn it round. Fosun picked him, they have to take responsibility for that and give him a sporting chance.
