Trains from Cradley/Stourbridge still available at £32 return. Earliest gets to Marylebone about 12.10, last returns 7.40 & 8.40PM but it's very likely all these trains will stop at Wembley
Common sense suggests we get the West side then, coming from M40/A40 as opposed to Wat Ford from M1. Think we'd both use the same tube station, albeit different lines though.
That's either what passes for a joke in this PC world or someone's understanding of a neutral ground is deeply flawed. Mind Wembley is close enough to count as a home game for Watford.
Going to be a tight game.
Oh I'm sure we will cause them problems, especially if we can get in front (ideally in the last minute of injury time). It will be a tough game though and realistically you have to favour Utd to win 2 in every 3 times. Let's hope it's the 3rd game on Saturday.
We will surely sign him. Wonder if we're trying to negotiate the price down a bit or perhaps waiting for what seems like the inevitable (and worked for by parliament I suspect) decision to remain in the EU, improving the exchange rate for a few days.
Think we will look to sell Costa (sadly looks a shadow of the player and no sign this is changing). Can see Ruddy and Saiss choosing to leave rather than being pushed.
Got to sign Raul on a permanent, a centre back who is better on the ball than Bennet, wide player upgrade (Behrami perhaps...
They are very similar to Everton in that regard. Despite all the evidence they think there a top team and sides like us and Watford have somehow fluked our way above them. Everton fans tend to be better in person though.
Based on the little I've seen they will be ultra defensive and hope to catch us on the break. They have a lot of pace in the forwards. One of those games we might stroll (in our low scoring way), like Bournemouth or struggle to break them down and end up frustrated and with a 2 goal defeat...
Bit harsh. No club gets them all right and since Nuno has arrived there have been few misses. Oddly I think Nuno is trying to change Traores game but certainly he currently is that impact sub.
Bit difficult planning for this! 8PM kick off so a bit later to the pub but it's the Friday before Xmas so they may all be packed with office workers by 5.00. Damn it get in at 4 if I can get a lift. Sorted!:icon_biggrin:
Can't see why Palace wouldn't sell to us for the right money, we're not really rivals currently. Wether we'd offer enough or he'd be prepared to come is another matter.
Thought a draw would be fair. We always seemed uncomfortable with those high crosses again and our attacks broke down too often with poor final balls. Red card was clear as day and no chance VAR would have reversed it. The Boly incident could well have been a penalty (but not a sending off) with...
