Wolves Internationals

If his injury gets worse then I expect the Mexican FA to get a rather large law suit

All 3 Portuguese unused subs in their friendly against Nigeria last night.

Probably false hope but praying that the world cup reawakens the Raul we had in our first 2 prem seasons. Been rewatching some of those games this week and I'd forgot just how good he was.

I doubt he will play very much. Certainly not in the first round as there seems no way he can manage 90 minutes.

Being there will lift his mood, no doubt about that.
Playing wise he needs a rapid improvement in fitness as clips from his 45 mins v Sweden he looked like he was running through treacle whilst wearing lead boots

I still can’t shake the feeling that this Cup will be his swansong in football altogether.

I cannot see any way how he starts a game as soon as Tuesday.

If they lose to Poland then they're immediately behind the 8-ball as surely everyone will beat Saudi Arabia, which in turn means they may well need to beat Argentina.

Martino is very unpopular in Mexico and the team has been poor for a while.

Tata has gotten an unusual amount of leeway from FMF. He’s been in five or six positions that would have seen previous Mexico managers sacked immediately.

I think if you don't believe he's having an operation as soon as they are out then you are deluding yourself. TBD if that comes with a retirement or relocation

If the op is a thing then we know the club sanctioned such a move...but already feels as if Lopetegui has stamped down on the bollocks they have been pulling. As John Percy thinks 2 forwards are Lopetegui's priority in Jan, then we can probably say our farewells to Raul the moment surgery is announced.

It will be a great shame if we never see Raul in a Wolves shirt again, been a great player for us and I'll always remember him with fondness.
Not gunna take much notice of rumours about the whys and wherefores, whether he's got physical injuries or mental issues after his horrific injury, will always be in my favourite players list.

If he needs an op he won’t play for us again as we will move to other targets. Cannot risk waiting for him.

To be honest we're getting to the point where we need to be moving on from him any way. Ever since his head injury he's been a shadow of his former self.

If he never plays for us again so be it. He'll leave with my thanks and admiration for what he did in the Nuno years.

Oh yeah we definitely need a number one striker and we really need him in January, I'm hoping Fabio can do a job as an alternative next season, so Costa can be binned and Hwang moved on.

Probably, I can't shake the feeling that we'd have finished inside the top 7 again that season without Raul getting injured. Not only was he phenomenal in his own right but he made everyone around him better.
