Wolves Internationals

Christian Marques played as well. 22 now and currently playing for Yverdon-Sport in Switzerland.

Imagine if your local takeaway had given you the drizzling shits four times in a row and it was £30 a pop. And it didn't taste nice on the way in.

Well now they've got a special one time offer. £15.

That's Fabio Silva, that is.

Cunha & André starting for Brazil against Argentina

I have to think that the seeming willingness to try Silva again speaks as much to how desperate we’ve generally been up front since Raúl’s injury as anything else.

I know it's a weak Brazilian team relatively speaking at the moment, but to have 3 Wolves players on the pitch at the same time is pretty remarkable.

Shows what a fuck up Fosun made of the balance of the recruitment and GON appointment.

Can we do a quiz naming every different nation to represent us since the turn of the century?

Scandinavia:

Allan Nielsen played for Denmark while he was on loan here in spring 2000. Don't think we have any other Danish internationals (the likes of Bischoff, Buur and Budtz didn't get caps)

No Swedes as Joachim Björklund had finished at international level before he trundled along here and Dave Jones passed up the chance to sign Kim Källstrom (yes, it still rankles)

Steffen Iversen and Jorgen Strand Larsen for Norway (but not Havard Flo, no caps during 1999/2000 or 2000/2001)

Ivar Ingimarsson for Iceland, as well as Joey Gudjonsson, Jon Dadi Bödvarsson and Eggert Jonsson

We don't have any Finns
