Pepe is still quality, amazing career he's had. I remember we were linked with him an a free transfer in the summer before our first season in the Premier League when he initially moved to Porto and a lot of Wolves fans turned their nose up. He'd have been absolutely amazing, would still be getting in our first XI now.

One thing of note about Doherty too was that he looked way off match fitness . Struggled from very early on , socks rolled down .

Anyway - truth be told , we're way off the level required , we simply do not have the players , out best hope pulls out a few days in advance of the French match to cap it all .
