Wolves / Covid-19

Barber at Brighton went for the comfort of knowing your own dressing room

Such bollocks :icon_lol:

Aren't all PL grounds now mandated to have warm-up areas indoors and similar facilities? Think we had to build some when we got promoted.

This from Villa is beyond laughable

"Purslow argued relegation-threatened clubs’ squads “can’t survive 3 or 4 players falling ill. If Villa had to play a match without Grealish, Mings and McGinn the chances of winning reduce enormously. I’d like a rule that says we don't have to play if our best players had Covid.”

Fuck it. Going forward any team gets 2 injuries it is game off. Not sure how Newcastle would ever finish a season but we can't have teams missing players can we.

Also for Villa if 3 of your players, inc your shit reserve keepers, test positive when the season restarts your games are off....infact every game is off.

Brilliant.

We'd have been set in 1994/95, just wait for all our good players to come back.

Did a tour of Molineux last season for the boys birthday, I can guarantee you the difference between our dressing room and the away one is huge

Just relegate the fuckers for that. He surely can't have said that with a straight face.

Well if you play on neutral venues the situation will be the same, no doubt most grounds the away dressing is worse than the home, simple whoever was scheduled to be at home gets the home dressing room.

But top 6 clubs can survive with that amount of players out? No Christian it’s called squad depth and the reason why teams are where they are in the table.
So if say Liverpool have 3 plays out that’s fine but if Villa do game off.
Even if sides are allowed on their home patch someone will find something to moan about.

Those have have a strong liklihood of relegation will try to find a way to stop playing

Just tell them that if it doesn't finish them PPG (or a weighted home/away) system is then going to happen & there will only be 3 teams against.

Bottom 3’s hands are going to be forced if there’s still belligerent behaviour from the bottom 6 then the PPG should then be used plus points penalties for next season for the 3 that survive ie 1 point deduction per game not played, especially considering every effort was done to play games in as fair way as is possible.

You know what I'd say fuck it see you next March and we'll complete the season 2019/21

Say cheerio to a good proportion of clubs then as a huge amount would go into financial meltdown without football for that long.

On the Athletic, it says Wolves was used yesterday in a pilot for a drive-thru testing facility for the PL.

I think as Wolves fans we have to remember that we are in an extremely lucky stage of our recent history. We've spent less than a 1/4 of the last 40 years in the top flight, even if there isn't any football for a year we'll be fine. There's a hell of a lot of fans who would lose their club in that scenario.

FA have also told PL no relegation isn’t an option full stop, but surely the PL can the FA where to go.

For someone who still considers it Division One I'd fucking hope they can't!

Its not a separate league (as much as commercially they like to make out it is) is it, its a division!

Its funny when all this 'must complete the season' stuff started it was all about 'the integrity of the competition' now footballs shows its true face its got fuck all to do with the integrity of the competition. How can the competition keep its integrity with no relegations.

If they're going to play at completing the season don't bother! Scrap it.

Have you seen the away dressing room at Wolves? It's about the same standard as Aggborough.

MGW has been caught breaching the lockdown rules.

I'm not giving the Heil the benefit of the clicks and I have no idea who the "celebrities" he met with are from the snippet I saw. Not really important, seems bang to rights, idiot.

finally a deserved use of FFS for MGW

Utter idiot if he was at a party in London with no-mark celebs. He deserves whatever Wolves throw at him and considering how our owners have reacted to help the world in this pandemic he needs to be nervous right now. A simple fine might not be outcome. Might get a loan move though...

Silly silly boy, all those Wolves fans on social media who used the Grealish thing as a poor excuse for some rivalry point scoring may find they're going to get it back now.

He'll get slaughtered by a lot of our fanbase now just waiting for an excuse.

Will they? There were Villa fans making excuses for JG, they were the ones who were getting stick.
