"The Under-23s play off semi final with West Ham United will take place at Molineux, on Monday, May 8th (7pm)."

Annoying as I won't be able to make that one

and with that date, you can pretty much rule out Ennis, Wilson, Herc etc from being bumped up to the 1st team the day before. We are taking this seriously and don't want to break up the team or lose them and have to replace them with U18's at such a crucial stage.

So don't bother with the Sunday game and everyone turn up for the game that has the players who actually want to try... ;)

Would normally have considered the last game of the season for the first team, but can't be arsed given how they are playing & the fact that they are both dead games for both teams, but this might be more interesting. Anyone know what the ticket prices are & can you buy on the day?

Would still mean an overnight, but decent advance ticket prices still available for travel.

Members get in free for normal U23 games. They might change this for the semi-final, nothing's been announced yet.

Thanks - will see what the options are when they are announced (can always drive up if cannot get discounted train prices as at least thats a known cost)

Have booked for this now (£0 ticket cost), but need to stay over as no trains to get me back home the same night & can't be arsed to have a 3 1/2 hr drive back that late.

Hopefully a more exciting game than I might have got from the first team v Preston

Along with Kieran Scott, who has been with us a couple of times (moved around a lot of clubs in last few years).

Head of emerging talent is a great name for a job title..

Darren Ryan, who took over from Jerry Gill, is also on his way out it seems.

Can't make the game tonight which is intensely annoying. We'll have to make the final so I can turn up to that one.

If anyone is thinking of going and wants to save the £4 on the door, you can have my ticket. You'll have to pick it up from my house though.

Just about to leave now. Looking forward to it. Hoping to see Ennis and Wilson up top together and also my first time seeing Ruddy in nets.

Is it the same squad that plays Leamington? Is that the cup?

It'll be the U18s on Wednesday. Birmingham Senior Cup (which we generally don't take very seriously, we haven't won it since the late 80s).

Surprised MGW isn't playing as I was that Bright did yesterday

Broken foot, should be back during preseason
